We built GIANT Classroom Robot! One of ours went all the way to the ceiling!!! We collected
a variety of boxes, large and small, and anything that could make cool gadgets
to build a robot. Cans, lids,
dryer hoses, various electronic parts, gaskets, gears, switches, foil,
virtually anything your imagination can envision!! To create our robot we needed LOTS of duct tape, parent
volunteers, and team work! I had a
small group of students work with parent volunteers in stages. One group created the body, one created
the arms and legs, one created the head, several groups painted! What a fabulous combined effort! We made books about our robots when
they were complete!
