To kick off my class Robot Thematic Cross-Curricular Unit, I brought as many robots as I could get hold of into my classroom. Many of these pictured
came from thrift stores, and my own personal collection. Many students brought in their own, or those they borrowed. We also purchased a robot for the study. My class collected quarters, bid, and bought a class robot from Ebay! What a fantastic math lesson that
was!! The class was given time for
free play to explore these robots.
They also collected and changed out the batteries for these robots. Parents donated some of the robots and
batteries, too! There are many activities included in the unit pictured below, available in my Teacher's Pay Teachers Store. I will be posting more activities in the coming weeks as our Robot Thematic Cross-Curricular Study evolves!
