My class returned from winter break with many stories. One story struck a cord with the entire
class and myself as well. A young
boy was concerned about the birds being able to find food and getting too cold
with all the snow, freezing rain, and ice.
He said he made a snowman and a bird landed on its carrot nose and tried
to eat the carrot.
I found this very sweet art project “Birds On Snowmen” on a
wonderful blog – Marymaking.blogspot.com.
How absolutely PERFECT!! My
class is going to try our own versions of “Birds On Snowmen!” I’ll supply the carrots!!
